Mrs. Denise Pazdon
Special Education Assessment
I am a Speech Language Pathologist and Learning Disabilities Specialist. This is my 30th year in public education. I have worked in a total of four school districts and have been working at North Hampton School since the summer of 2001. I finally found the school that fit my philosophy about children and learning!
I redesigned Granite State College's Speech Language Assistant program and taught courses there from 2001 through the spring of 2015.
I have been a case manager in grades 2,3,4,6,7 and 8 and have provided speech and language therapy in Pre-K through grade 8 over the years. I spent most years working with NHS's middle school population. This year I am assessing academic and speech and language skills in students in K-8 for their three-year reevaluations and referrals.
I have a great son who is an ecologist and owns Coyote Club, a wonderful daughter who is a school psychologist and super son-in-law who is a case manager for developmentally challenged adults and is also a writer and musician. I have a lovable 11 year old Great Pyrenees named Nell and a new addition, Bella, an energetic 3 year old cat. I love spending time with my family, friends and furry pals. Being on the water gives me great peace and kayaking is by far my favorite sport! I feel energized spending time outside while enjoying our beautiful New England surroundings, reading and singing with my musician friends. I just started paddle boarding and am not very good at it, but am determined to get better!
I absolutely love children and teaching! I feel grateful to work at North Hampton School where children are celebrated.
