Jaguar Journal- October 22, 2018

Hello North Hampton parents and guardians,

Dr. Bill Lupini, who began as SAU 21 Superintendent in July, will be hosting an Open Forum for North Hampton parents on Thursday, November 1, from 6:00-7:00pm.  An invitation/flyer to Dr. Lupini's forum is posted in the "Digital Backpack".  The "Digital Backpack" is available as a Quick Link (lower right hand corner) on the Homepage of the new school website at: www.northhamptonschool.org .

As a reminder, each grade level's Curriculum Supporting Documents (and other materials from the teachers) are available on the school website under the Curriculum tab.

We've had 16 additional volunteer chaperones approved and added.  For some of you, I know it took way longer than the estimated three weeks.  Thank you for your patience.  This brings our total at present to 46 school wide.  Kudos to Marianne Von Jess (PAL President) for organizing two opportunities for parents to have their fingerprints done here in town!  Tuesday, October 23rd from 5:30-7:30pm and Saturday, November 3rd from 9:00-11:00am. Both will be held at the town library (big room).  Also, thank you to the North Hampton Police Department and Deputy Chief Josh Stokel for partnering with PAL to make this happen.

Staffing Update- Mr. Patrick Guidi, an Educational Associate and full-time substitute at NHS who is also a certified Physical Education and Health teacher, has agreed to be the long-term sub for our Enrichment Coordinator.  He’ll began in that role on Monday, 10/22.

If either you, a family member, or a friend may be interested in substitute teaching, please ask them to contact Assistant Principal Tracy Griffenhagen at the school, who will walk them through the process.

Mark your calendars-
