Although the early November weather may not be so nice, at least we're not shoveling! Time to FALL BACK- Don't forget to turn back the clocks one hour this weekend.
Afternoon Pick-up procedure- Thank you to all of the "pick-up parents" who've helped make this important time of day safe and smooth. Relocating the afternoon Pre-K pick-up has definitely helped. If you prefer to get out of your vehicle, please park in an open space in the parking lot and walk over to the children.

Grades K-2 (cafe)- 8:35-8:55 . We'll speak with the Pre-K children separately.
Grades 3-5 (cafe)- 9:00-9:20
Grade 6- 11:25-11:45 (Mrs. Tharp’s room)
Grades 7-8- 12:00-12:20 (Library Learning Commons)
North Hampton Police Officer Chris Poppalardo will speak with our students about the ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) violent intruder response procedure that we are implementing as part of our Emergency Management procedures here at NHS. ALICE is a response procedure that we hope to never need to use, but need to be prepared to use, just in case. Afterward, the children will understand the ALICE protocol and why it's important to help keep them safe. We'll then engage with the staff in a brief refresher from last year. We'll then be ready to have a practice drill. I'll inform parents when that has been scheduled and will look forward to collaborating with North Hampton Emergency Services, including new Police Chief Kathryn Mone throughout this process.
