Weekly Note from Ms. Snyder 11/8

Dear NHS Community,

With the clocks set back to Eastern Standard Time, the days certainly do seem shorter! We have completed our fall sports schedule and begun winter basketball season in the world of Middle School sports.

Winnacunnet High School will present their fall play on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 PM, Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7 PM, and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 PM. The play “Puffs” is a PG-13 production and appropriate for Middle Schoolers at their parents’ discretion. Adult tickets are $10 and Student tickets are $7

NHS Talent Show

This is the big week of the Talent Show (Friday, Nov. 8). I really think the staff number will rock the house! Yes, that’s right, there is a staff entry in this year’s Talent Show. The Talent Show takes place at Winnacunnet HS Auditorium and begins at 5:30 PM. I got to see student rehearsals last week and was very impressed!

It’s all basketball for this season. See below:

Basketball schedule

The November PAL meeting is on Nov. 21st at 6 PM. In conjunction with NHS PAL, The Barley House will be hosting an NHS Community Night on Monday, November 11th. A portion of the proceeds benefit NHS PAL.

Veteran’s Day Assembly-Nov. 8, 2019

This year’s Veteran’s Day Assembly will take place on Nov. 8th at 8:45 AM with a brunch for visiting veterans immediately following. Student Government is hosting the brunch and will be sending home an invitation to any community member who has served in the armed forces in this week’s Friday Folder.
