North Hampton School

Weekly Note from Ms. Snyder 5/7/2021

Dear NHS Community,

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so lucky to have such dedicated and skilled teachers and staff at North Hampton School! I know you join me in singing their praises. If you haven’t already done so, a kind note or drawing from your child is always much appreciated by staff members. So far this week, PAL has sponsored teacher raffles, a coffee truck visit, and donuts. Tomorrow, PAL is planning a drive through parade to celebrate our teachers at 2:15 PM. They plan to meet at the plaza at the corner of Rt. 1 and Atlantic Ave. Teachers and staff will be outside by the parking lot area. If you have questions or would like to join and find out more, please contact Megan Chartier at mchartier@sau21.org.

Administrators and office staff hosted a lunch yesterday for our staff as well.

Update

We are pleased to welcome back PE teacher Pat Yeaton and secretary Kelly Ford. Kelly can be reached at the main office phone.

SAVE THE DATE--8th Grade Graduation

We are pleased to announce we are planning to hold 8th Grade Graduation outdoors at the North Hampton School field on Thursday, June 10th, with a rain date of Monday, June 14th.  We believe the guidance around outdoor gatherings from NH DHHS is likely to be updated before June. That said, it is possible that we may need to limit the number of guests for each student, depending on DHHS guidelines and SAU 21 practices at the time.

Library Books

If you have any overdue library books hiding in your house, please send them back to school.

Mrs. McCombs really misses them. We know routines have been interrupted by the pandemic, so it is understandable if some library books were misplaced. Please take a look around your house this weekend. Thank you!
