Only a few days remain for the Fall PAL Spirit Wear Drive! Visit www.nhspal.com/shop to purchase your new school apparel and accessories. The online store will remain open through MIDNIGHT this Friday, 10/8. All purchases will be delivered to classrooms. If purchasing a gift, please email info@nhspal.com to coordinate pickup.
Bus Evacuation
For those new to NHS, we conduct Bus Evacuation Practice two times per year. It is much like a fire drill in that it provides practice and information so students would know what to do if there were ever an emergency on a bus. Each class boards a bus that is parked in our school parking lot and listens to instructions about how to exit safely. They practice using the emergency exit and go back to class. All students participate even if they don’t regularly ride the bus. This is because we take field trips so all students need the information.
Suicide Prevention
September was National Suicide Prevention Month. Our school counselor, Ms. Vasconcellos provided a training for our staff and also wanted to share some resources with the community and promote awareness prevention awareness. Please see the attached resource sheet that also includes other social and mental health resources. They can also be found on the SAU 21 website.

Parent Conferences
We are planning on scheduling Parent/Teacher conferences via zoom during the week of October 12, 2021. Teachers will contact parents with information about how to sign up when the dates get closer.
