The summer is flying by. I hope you are enjoying the opportunity to be outdoors!
As we think about the beginning of the school year, we will be opening up the Powerschool Parent Portal on August 2, 2022. All parents will need to log in to their account to update student information and determine permission preferences for a variety of items, such as acceptable use of the internet, device agreements, and photo/video permissions. We are updating specific information in some grades and will continue to do so in subsequent years.
We will require:
Updated physical exam documentation for students entering grade 2 and grade 7
Signed residency affidavit and proof of residency document for students entering preschool, kindergarten,
Signed residency affidavit for students entering grade 3 and grade 6
Hard copies of the new residency affidavit form were mailed to families of students entering PK, Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 3, and Grade 6. The mailing included stamped return envelopes for your convenience. They can also be dropped off at the school office. As a reminder, July office hours are
9 AM-2 PM Monday through Thursday.
Once parents have updated their Parent Portal information and provided the documents requested, our office will email within 2-3 business days with the name of your child’s homeroom teacher, a grade level supply list, and a welcome letter from the teacher.
We will not be mailing a letter with teacher names and class assignments. You will receive this information via email after completing the required items listed above. Thank you for your help as we transition to this new process.
