November 7, 2022
Dear NHS Families,
It’s a busy week! There is no school tomorrow (Nov. 8), due to Election Day. It is a teacher professional development day. Our school Talent Show is Wednesday night (Nov. 9) at 6 PM. On Thursday, we recognize Veteran’s Day with an assembly led by our Student Government. All students are invited to wear red, white, and blue on Thursday. Finally, there is no school on Friday (Nov. 11), in observance of Veteran’s Day.
Illness prevention
In some grades, we are seeing a recent increase in illness. To the best of our knowledge, the symptoms appear to be flu like and not Covid related. In any case, please remind your child to wash their hands frequently and cover their coughs and sneezes with their arm or elbow. We are doing our best to keep rooms sanitized to prevent any further spread of illness. As always, please keep children home if they have a fever or they don’t feel well enough to be in school. Feel free to reach out to Nurse Mara with any questions.
Trimester 1 Ends on Dec. 2, 2022
Report Cards will be available in the Parent Portal in Powerschool on Dec. 8, 2022.
