The Parent & Staff Survey results will be presented at the School Board meeting on Thursday, October 18. The meeting begins at 7 pm in the music room at North Hampton School.
For the third year, the School Board, in conjunction with NHS Staff and the SAU, conducted a survey of parents to better understand their views on the school. The purpose of the survey is to give our parents, being one important stakeholder, a collective voice. This is an important opportunity to ensure we are hearing from ALL parents.
This year we also surveyed another important stakeholder, our staff, with a parallel questionnaire to better understand how they felt about the same programs, initiatives and values that impact the school. We were able to compare and contrast the responses to see where there was alignment between staff and parents and where there was not.
The information will be used from both surveys to better direct our school. In fact, the staff survey results were already used in the School Improvement Plan (SIP) process last spring.
