The Talent Show for Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 will take place on Wednesday, April 17th at 5:30 p.m. in the North Hampton School cafeteria. This a time to showcase our younger student’s talents and we are looking for practiced and polished acts. Families can assist by making sure their students are prepared for their performance.
For the Talent Show, students may sing, play an instrument or dance alone or with others. Each student may be in one solo event. In addition, they may part of a group event. Students who sing, can sing a capella (without any accompaniment) or with a karoke CD or with accompaniment *(see below). Families need to provide the karoke music either as a CD or as a sound file from a site such as iTunes. Students may not stream from a site such as YouTube for if the Wi-fi glitches, it will ruin the performance Please send these files to Mr. Singer by email or on a flashdrive. For the actual show, the music files will be loaded onto a school iPad in the order of the acts. Students should not plan to “sing along” with an artist. Each act should be no more than 2 or 3 minutes in length.
No skits, lip syncs, jump roping, jokes or hula hooping will be allowed in the show.
Parents need to sign-up on-line beginning March 25th if they have a student who would like to participate in the Talent Show. Please go to the school website and follow the link to the sign-up form. If your student is performing with others in a group, please have one parent sign-up the whole group and list all the students’ names who will be participating.
