As you might imagine, our students are eager to see the results of their March student election votes put into action, especially the introduction of a comfort dog into our NHS community.
We are partnering with Mrs. Mace, a puppy raiser for Canine Companions.
Mrs. Mace brought Goliath to school for his first visit. He is a Golden Retriever Lab mix and is about one year into his service-dog-training.
Our plan is to bring him to NHS a couple of times a month for the duration of the school year as part of his schooling. Our first puppy Jaguar!
