Ms. Karen Nadeau

Hi! My name is Karen Nadeau and I am so excited to be a part of the North Hampton School Community, in the Preschool Program. I have been in Special Education for 15 years as both an Educational Assistant and a Certified Special Educator. I have worked in Exeter at Main Street School, Portsmouth at Dondero, and Dover at Horne Street School. 

I love working with pre academic aged students. Everyday is a learning experience and I am constantly reminded of how capable and smart young children are. I love to explore learning in early childhood and use interdisciplinary learning throughout the day. I enjoy allowing students to get messy with art, science and sensory play while using a lot of hands on and engaging learning tools.  

I live in Rye with my husband, James, our two children, Riley and Joe, and our two dogs, a chocolate lab named Bruce and our English Bulldog, Mabel. I love taking walks and exploring the beautiful area we live in with my dogs. My hobbies are: golfing, hiking, boating, painting, and traveling. Our special place to visit is Ossipee Lake. 

I'm looking forward to continuing my path of learning and growing with everyone at North Hampton School!
